P.L.Godlevsky born May 15, 1928 in a family of Polish migrant Luchian Dmitrievich Godlewski and Anastasia Alexandrovna (nee Tikhonova). On his father`s side he was descended from an ancient noble family Godlewski.
A graduate of Stalingrad State Pedagogical Institute (1951).
Cvoyu career he began in 1951, a special correspondent for the youth newspaper "Young Leninist" in Stalingrad and since 57 years he worked in the Soviet and later the Russian press.
From 1955-1956,. literary associate, deputy editor of the newspaper "Construction of Communism" authority building control "Stalingradgidrostroy" in the Volga, Stalingrad region.
From 1956-1961 gg. correspondent of the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda" in the Irkutsk region.
From 1961-1976 gg. correspondent Information Agency press agency "News" (APN) in the Volgograd, Saratov and Astrakhan regions and the Republic of Kalmykia.
From 1976-1977 gg. chief editor of the Kuibyshev studio newsreel RSFSR State Committee for Cinematography.
From 1977- 2008 biennium. correspondent of the Volga region the newspaper "Soviet trade" 1990 "Trading newspaper".
P.L.Godlevsky engaged in literary work.
Filmed in his script for the film "Invictus Stalingrad" was shown in more than 80 countries, and another film, "Children of Stalingrad" was awarded the highest literary award of the German Democratic Republic "Silver Arrow".
Besides journalism, engaged in literary work, he is the author of the collection of short stories, novels and plays.
