He graduated from the Higher State Theatre Academy in Warsaw (1964). His career is associated primarily with two Warsaw scene - with the Polish theater and contemporary theater. In addition, he cooperated with other Polish theaters. He played more than 100 theatrical roles: he played Hamlet, Richard III of, Don Quixote, King Lear. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Golden Mask I half of XX century (1996), eight awards of international theater festivals around the world for the performance of the main and supporting roles, as well as many Polish festivals (for roles in plays Fredro - Opole `1985 , Mrozek - Wroclaw `1988 Witkiewicz - Opole` OE and 1993).
