The most ancient text, mentions Ahikar, papyrus in Aramaic found on Elephantine Island and dated V century BC. e. The wise man is the guardian of the print Sennacherib. Childless, he adopts his nephew Nawada (Nasvasa), but he is trying to destroy his uncle by slander. Only thanks to their exceptional wisdom Ahikar in the end triumphs over the ungrateful cousin.
