Yuri Kamorny born August 8, 1944. After graduating from high school in 1962 he entered the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography (LGITMiK).
His first noticed the director Julian Panich, who in 1965 invited the young actor for the lead role in the film "Farewell to White Nights". Kamorny played journalist Valery, moderately cynical, moderately conscientious Playboy. Unfortunately, this film had the difficult fate: due to the departure of its director West put on the shelf and showed only two decades later. Therefore, the film is practically very few people have seen, and the debut of the Chamber in the movie turned out to be crumpled. But soon, the actor once again lucky. In 1966, director Michael Bogin invited him to one of the central roles in the Soviet-Polish painting "Zosia". The film was a great box office success with the audience and performer starring Polish actress Pola Raksa (this Marusyu she played in "Four tankmen ..."), by the readers of the magazine "Soviet Screen" will be named the best foreign actress in 1967.
By the way, an idle rumor attributes the role of seducer Kamorny this Polish beauty. They say that during the filming of the picture they had a passionate affair that nearly ended the marriage. This legend seems quite plausible, as an actor really was a huge success with women, and not accidentally acquired fame in the artistic circles of the first lover.
After finishing Institute in 1967, Kamorny hit the troupe of the Leningrad Youth Theater named Bryantseva, which was led by his teacher on LGITMiK 3. Korogodskii. By Yuri he treated with great sympathy, many even thought Kamorny his favorite. True or not, it is difficult to judge, but one thing is certain: that combines Kamorny actively playing in the theater with the shooting in the movie, Korogodskii winked. And then he appeared very active. Here is a partial list of his paintings: "Liberation" (1968-1971), "Quarantine" (1969), "The Kremlin chimes" (1970).
In those same years, he married a young actress Irina Petrovskaya. In 1967 they had a daughter, Pauline.
In the 70 years of creative life Kamorny evolved much more successful in the theater than in film. On the theatrical stage he was lucky to play a variety of roles in plays such as "Master", "Our circus", "breath of freedom". The best is its role in the Youth Theatre will Rizpolozhensky in the play "His people - are numbered."
In the movie, the role of large-scale, worthy of his talent he almost was not. Basically, the directors invited him to play a beautiful and successful young people, a kind of supermen and explorers of female hearts. Here are a few pictures, which he then starred "Rudobelskaya Republic", "People on the Nile" (both - 1972), "The door without a lock", "Everyday Criminal Investigation" television movie "Being Human" (all - 1973), " Arrows of Robin Hood "(1976).
In the early 70`s the first marriage broke up artist, and he for some time lived alone in a cramped dressing room Spectators (apartment on Suvorov, as befits a real man, he left his ex-wife and daughter). In 1972, his life became a new woman - a student of the law faculty of Leningrad State University, whom he met while filming "The door without a lock." This woman seems to have exerted a beneficial effect on Kamorny - after meeting her for the first time the actor seriously thinking about their own health, stopped drinking (he already had two abdominal operations: he had a hernia infringement and adhesive disease). She got an administrator on the "thumbnail" and for several years was accompanied by a Jury in all its kinoekspeditsii.
Although the film did not disclose fully its possibilities, Kamorny still chose him, and not a theater - in 1976 he resigned from the Youth Theatre. By that time he already had a villa in the pine, own boat (he bought it in the director G. Tovstonogov BDT), a rich collection of knives. Collect it, he began in the time of his students (he even worked in a police gunsmith), and describes the period it consisted of about three dozen units, among which there were quite a few instances. As befits Superman actor perfectly possessed such weapons and could easily throw a well-aimed knife pierce the target, located a few meters from him.
After leaving the theater, Kamorny settled in the State of the studio theater actor at the "Lenfilm" and soon received a new living space: he was given a 12-meter room in a communal apartment in a house on the street Saltykov-Shchedrin. Nearby is the famous in those years brasserie "Surf", and Yuri became his patrons. Beer Kamorny loved get-together for his cheerful disposition and juicy tales of cinematic life. Even the local police went to almost all of his friends.
Meanwhile, despite their periodic spree, Kamorny continued very actively removed, and almost every year on the screens of the country came out his film "Birds of our hope" (1977), "Poseidon" to the rescue "(1978)," Blue Lightning "TV movie" The ringing of the departing summer "(both - 1979).
By the early `80s as a creative and personal life Kamorny evolved quite well. Anyway, apparently it looked that way. In 1980, he finally got the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Despite the fact that a close relationship with the student stopped the LSU in 1979, she continued to maintain with him a business relationship and led his financial affairs. Ordeal in a communal coming to an end: he firmly promised to allocate a separate apartment (a warrant for her will be November 15, 1981). Number of producers who want to take it off, not translated. In the years 1980-1981, he starred in two starring in the feature film "True Klimov Lieutenant" and the TV movie "Game without trumps." Roles were excellent: in the first, he played a naval officer, in the second - the leader of the gang. The latter role he was particularly unsuccessful: in it he looked like a superman with the whole set of necessary attributes: possession of karate, luck at cards, love of women, and so on..
It was while working in the last picture (the shooting took place in Lithuania) Kamorny met a young local makeup artist film studio and brought her to him in Leningrad. On the last day of his life it was she who was with him in an apartment in a house on the street Saltykov-Shchedrin, and has become a major participant in the tragedy. But first things first.
At noon on November 27, 1981 Kamorny neighbors in the communal apartment suddenly heard heart-rending female screams coming from his room. When they opened the door and looked inside, and saw a horrible scene: girl, his head in his hands, he sat in the corner, and their neighbor standing on the couch, holding both hands on the dagger. His face was disfigured by a terrible grimace, lips whispered some wild words: "... they will kill you ... you should not go ... I`d rather kill you myself ..." Deciding that the actor fell into delirium tremens, neighbors immediately called on the phone narcologist. That, in turn, took with him and a few policemen from Dzerzhinsky district police department. When they arrived at the scene, Kamorny went on a rampage and brandishing daggers anyone to not let myself. Today it is impossible to determine exactly what the real danger he had imagined, and whether it was possible to neutralize it without the use of firearms, but the police have decided not to risk it and the weapon used. And at first, as it should have done two warning shots up. One of the bullets ricocheted and hit the girl in the arm. She cried hysterically, and it probably brought from the police themselves. The third shot, they made for the actor. However, labeled in the legs and hit the femoral artery. The wound fountain gushing blood. In just a few seconds Kamorny died.
How then has established expertise in the blood of the victim was not a single gram of alcohol. We did not find him, and no changes in the brain. Then what happened to the actor in the day? It can now only guess. Whether really it suddenly auknulos zagulnaya past life, or my mind for some time clouded for some unknown reason. This mystery is shrouded in obscurity.
Oddly enough, but the deaths Kamorny passed virtually unnoticed Leningraders, and in Moscow, and many do not know that the famous actor died in St. Petersburg. Partly to blame are the authorities who banned to publish obituaries in the press. The morgue Botkin Hospital, where it was the artist`s body, goodbye only a few people came to him. Among them was the mother of the actor, who then took away his son`s body back home - in Staraya Russa. There he was buried. It is said that today it is very difficult to find the grave because of its bad condition it is not on any boards or cross.
