Background

VG Afanasyev from March 1976 to October 1989 the editor in chief of the newspaper "Pravda"; resigned after mass protests caused [citation needed 2426 days] reprint in "Pravda" article Vittorio Dzukkoni of the Italian newspaper "La Repubblica" of Yeltsin`s alcoholism (while it is not yet perceived as a real fact). VG Afanasyev died April 10, 1994. He was buried in Moscow at Kuntsevo Cemetery.

Author of the popular students 1970-1980-ies. textbook on the philosophy of "Fundamentals of philosophical knowledge." It was written for the top party schools, but they are used in virtually all universities.
