BiographyThis quintet was formed in the town of Seattle shtatovskih Jeff Eymentom (born March 10, 1963, Big Sandy, USA. Bass) and Stone Gossard (. P July 20, 1965, Seattle, USA, rhythm guitar). Gossard played with Steve Turner in "Ducky Boys", and then moved to Steve Eymentu in the "Green River". Stone joined them when Mark Arm (who, like Turner,later he joined the "Mudhoney") switched from guitar to vocals.
When "Green river" broke up, and some of its members went into the project, Andrew Wood`s "Mother Love Bone", Gossard and Eyment continued to work together. However, the ill-fated team collapsed when, four weeks after the release of their debut 1990 "Apple",Wood was found dead of a heroin overdose. Gossard Eyment and subsequently participated in the Wood tribute concert. They played together with Chris Cornell and Matt Cameron of "Soundgarden", and helped them with school friend Stone Mike McCready (born April 5, 1966, Pensacola, USA. Guitar). Vocalists have been ex-party "Bad Radio" Eddie Vedder (Edward Louis Severs II, p. 23 December 1964, Evanston, USA) .
Vedder and McCready subsequently joined the Eymentu and Gossard to organize the "Pearl jam" (first group they called "Mookie Blaylock"). Place on drums took Dave Cruz. The team signed a contract with "Epic Records" and in 1991 she made her debut with a powerful album "Ten". By that time, Cruz left the band and was replaced by Dave Abbruzzesom.
