bright comet on the horizon of the national cinema
For the first time on screen Melikhova Olga appeared in 1980. She starred in the melodrama Vari Berezina Victor Aristov "Reed in the Wind" (the novel by Georgi Markov). Thin, delicate and fragile actress, a great representative of Russian theater acting school, she could not remain unnoticed. Following the debut of her new work followed.
The lyrical comedy Viktor Titov "unpaid leave" Olga Melikhova brilliantly performed the role of Katya Kotova. Her heroine, a kindergarten teacher, comes from a distant village to Moscow to his beloved. Katya - nature is extremely enthusiastic and romantic, but at the same dedication and focus. It achieves the seemingly impossible completely, just to be near her beloved. That`s just something he does not really pay attention to it. The main actor in this wonderful picture played Igor Kostolevsky.
In the 80s Olga Melikhova also starred in the film adaptations of Russian classics directed by Slava Krishtofovich. In the drama based on the novel by Leo Tolstoy, "Two Hussars" she appeared in the role of Lizonka then glavnuyurol played in the TV movie "Volodya large, Volodya" (based on short stories by Anton Chekhov).
But most viewers actress remembered for her role as Zina - assistant professor Preobrazhensky (Evgeny Evstigneev) in the cult film by Vladimir Bortko "Heart of a Dog."
Despite the high-profile successes in the late 80`s Olga Melikhova I decided to leave the cinema. Its further fate is unknown.
