Karabanova Olga (born 03.14.1952, Nizhny Novgorod.) - A psychologist. She graduated from the Faculty of Psychology of Academy. MV Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1974 PhD (1979), Doctor of Psychology (2002). Since 1990 - Associate Professor, since 2003 - Professor of the Faculty of psychology psychology. Since 2001 - scientific secretary of specialized dissertation council on social psychology, developmental psychology and acmeology at Moscow State University (2001). Member ISSBD (International Society for the Study of the behavior) and RPO (1993). The winner of the Lomonosov Award for teaching work (2001).
She has published about 70 scientific papers on the development of personality in childhood and adolescence, the development of self-concept and self-awareness, moral development, psychology of family relations, diagnosis and correction of the parent-child relationship, age and psychological counseling, correction of the child`s mental development. Conducts research on the topic "The social situation of the child`s development: structure, dynamics, principles of correction."
