Born September 13, 1924 in the city of Ivanovo. Father - Krylov Valentin Pavlovich (1894 - 1969). Mother - Krylov (Druzhinin), Olga (1895 - 1978).
In 1947 he graduated from the Ivanovo Chemical Technology Institute as an engineer-chemist-technologist.
His professional biography began at the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR and worked there until 1961. On February 1, 1961 and is currently a professor at the Institute of Chemical Physics, Russian Academy of Sciences im.N.N.Semenova.
Among the creative works include: "The patterns of catalysts selection - non-metals", "Non-equilibrium processes in catalysis - general", "Presentation on the role of multi-phase in selective catalysis", "Creating a series of new catalysts for the oxidation," published several books on electronic processes in catalysis (1978 - 1981), "catalysis nonmetals" (1967) and others.
He was awarded the Order of Red Banner of Labor, the Order "Badge of Honor", was awarded the Prize of the USSR Council of Ministers (1978) is a member of the Academy of Creativity, a member of the International Council and other organizations on catalysis, a member of the editorial boards of several journals.
He is fond of tourism, including kayaking and skiing.
