The composition of this group of Orange County California town consisted of vocalist Gwen Stefani (b. October 3, 1969 ,Fellerton, USA) , guitarist Tom Dumont (b. January 11, 1968, Los Angeles, USA) , bassist Tony Ken (b. August 27, 1970, London, England) and drummer Adrian Young (b. August 26, 1969, Long Beach, USA). Guys took America by storm in 1996 after the release of their third album "Tragic Kingdom". The team was formed in December 1986-brother of Eric Stefani, who played keyboards. The first vocalist John Spence, a year later left the composition. Ken had already played in the team, in the spring of 1988, Dumont came a year later they were joined by Young.
In 1991, the group signed a contract with "Interscope Records". The debut album "No doubt",released during the indiscriminate domination of grunge, it sold poorly, and two years later, Eric Stefani left the band, having been engaged in animation.
In 1995, the band released their own published an excellent disc "The Beacon Street Collection", which included material recorded for the previous two years ,and continued to work on their second album on his label. "Tragic Kingdom" was released in October, but sales started to grow only when the single "Just A Girl" broke into the Top 30, as it is constantly spinning all radio stations. " Others thought that the reason lies in the fact that public fed up " fan - punk " commands such as " Green day "," Presidents Of The United States Of America " and " Rancid ", playing dark music.
In February 1997 "No doubt" burst on "difficult" English Market. During promoushen-visit to the UK group learned pleasant news for myself, that song "Don`t Speak" takes the leading position in the local charts. A few months later reissued "Just A Girl" climbed the charts on the third line. Journalists Girlfriend ,photogenic Stephanie kept the name "No doubt" in the spotlight for a long break between studio recordings.
The new single "Ex-Girlfriend" was released in February 2000. Well and behind him followed by the long-awaited continuation of the "Tragic Kingdom" - "Return of Saturn". Gwen later dabbled in solo work ,but at the end of 2001, the new album will hit the stores, "Rock steady".
