Born in New Jersey, and having taken the direction of alternative pop - rock and punk - pop group "My chemical romance" is often compared to bands such as the "Thursday" and "Cursive". Most of the songs are fast group, loud and aggressive, but quite melodic.History "My chemical romance" (the title borrowed from Irwin Walsh) dates back to the beginning of 2000. That`s when school friends Gerard Way (vocals) and Matt Pelissier (drums) tried to compose a few songs together. The venture was a success, and one of their opuses ("Skylines and Turnstiles") then got on the debut album.feelingthat things went smoothly, the boys were invited to the company of guitarist Ray Toto. Well, finally the composition "My chemical romance" was completed by the arrival of guitarist Frank Iero and bassist Mikey Wei (concurrently brother Gerard). In this configuration, the team started to go all over the US northeast,parallel hatching debut album plans.My chemical romanceMechty guys began to come true in 2002, when they were able to settle on "Eyeball records" New York indie label. Just a couple of weeks under this roof musicians managed to concoct your first attempt, called the "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love".This album is strongly reminded of creation "Thursday", which, however, was not surprising. After all, both groups were from New Jersey, the number of one label, and produced the record frontman "Thursday" Jeff Rickli. But the impact on the "My chemical romance" is not limited to: many observers have noted heredity "Smiths","Cure" and "Misfits", Wei and he noted his passion for the legend of the British heavy metal band "Iron maiden".
In general, "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love" was expecting a great success, and in its wake the team spent nearly two years on tour in North America and Europe. During these stages "MCR" beat many commands,including "The Used", "Taking Back Sunday", "Thrice" and "Story Of The Year".
My chemical romanceVskore a group drew attention to major label, and in 2003, "My chemical romance" signed a contract with "Reprise records" (unit "Warner bros"). His second album, the band went to record in Los Angeles,and supervised sessions Howard Benson ,
famous for his work with "Motorhead", "Hoobastank" and "P.O.D.". "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" was originally conceived as a concept album dedicated to the communication of people with the devil. However, in the course of work the guys have brought in a lot of personal texts,and therefore subjects of songs has changed places. In the same vein, the music on "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" felt again a lot of influences from Nick Drake to Trent Reznor. After releasing the record, the team did not wait for the approval of the audience, and went on tour again, this time decided to start with a visit to Japan.
