1930-1940 - Secondary School. Gorky.
1940-1945 - Faculty of History of Yerevan State University. In 1951 he graduated from the graduate school of the same university.
1960 - defended his thesis, he has the title of associate professor.
Since 1943 - member of the CPSU.
1942-1944 - worked as the chairman of the trade union committee of the Yerevan State University.
1944-1951 - was the secretary of the Komsomol committee of the Yerevan Medical Institute, the first secretary of the Kirov district committee and city committee of the Komsomol of Yerevan Armenian SSR.
1951-1954 - worked as the secretary of the Party Committee of the University, the secretary of the Yerevan City Committee of the Party, the instructor and the responsible organizer of the Central Committee of the CPA Armenia.
1954-1957 - the first secretary of the district committee Spandaryan Armenia.
1957-1961 - was re-elected Secretary of the Party Committee of the Yerevan State University.
1961-1966 - worked as the second secretary, and from February 1966 to May 1975 - the first secretary of the Yerevan city of Armenia.
1975-1989 - was the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Armenian SSR.
