Background

More than fifty years LA Kupriyanov worked at the Botanical Institute. Komarov, for many years led her to set up the laboratory palynology. It is one of the first to realize the need to establish a reference collection of pollen and spores. LA Kupriyanov has been an active participant in numerous international botanical and geological congresses. LA Kupriyanov died January 13, 1987 from an attack of heart disease.
