She was born June 7, 1953 in Brno, Czechoslovakia. Theatre fond of since childhood. Libuse have a younger sister Miroslava Safrankova. In the movie "The Little Mermaid" they filmed together.
The first success came after the movie "Grandma" on the novel by famous Czech writer Bozena Nemcova. The film took Antonin Moskalyk. Libuse safrankova played in it the role of the writer in children.
Safrankova finished drama school in Brno. After successful works in film, it has come to play on the stage of the famous author of the Prague theater "Drama Club". There she met her future husband, a famous Czech actor Josef Abraham.
In 1973 he starred in the famous film "Three Nuts for Cinderella".
