Background
Karlis Sebris born on February 18, 1914 in the village of Sinole Valka district (now - in Leyastsiemskoy parish Gulbenskogo Territory of Latvia).
Graduated Lizumskuyu primary school, then in 1932 - Tsesvajnsky public high school, and in 1938 - Latvian dramatic Zeltmatisa courses.
Since 1938 - an actor of the Latvian National Theatre (in 1940-1988 - the State Academic Theatre of Drama of the Latvian SSR A. ITES.). On the stage of this theater he has performed all his life, having played more than two hundred roles.
Film debut took place in 1940 at the Riga Film Studio in a small role in the film directed by V. Puce "Kauguri uprising."
He died on January 12, 2009 in Riga. He was buried at Forest Cemetery.
