John Emerich Edward Dalberg-Acton (John Emerich Edward Dalberg-Acton) was born January 10, 1834 in the Italian Naples (Naples, Italy). Father, Lord Acton, in 1791 inherited the baronetcy and the family possessions in Shropshire (Shropshire), was a representative of the younger branch of the family and served first in France (France), and then in Italy.
