Ivan Pereverzev was born into a peasant family in the village Kuzminki Oryol province. His parents were simple peasants who since childhood instilled in his son a love of work, the native land. And yet - they rewarded him with good health. Since childhood Ivan dreamed of becoming a sailor, I was going to enter the Nautical School. Parents dreamed that he was a real working specialty. To do this, and sent him to Moscow to her aunt Marusya with instructions, saying, Arrange the boy to study in a vocational school. The aunt and enrolled. Soon Ivan remesluhu graduated with a degree in mechanic-setter and was set at the factory "ball bearing".
So it would work Pereverzev at the plant, maybe even raised himself to princes, if not a friend Romka knocked him one day to go to the artists. "You just Look at yourself - fervently convinced of another novel -. Yes, with this growth and you face the same - the spitting image of the actor Which of you, hell, mechanic?" And eventually he engendered in the soul of Pereverzev doubt about their working future. Soon, they had applied to the School of the Theater of the Revolution. And here`s the paradox: Ivan took, and Roman - no. And he began to study theater Pereverzev literacy.
He studied it, I must say, excellent. All he succeeded, and his teachers knowingly Pereverzev considered one of the most talented students. When in 1938 he graduated from college, he Astangov Michael gave him a direction in the Theater of the Revolution. On the stage of this theater young actor played a role in two plays: Valentine in "Two Gentlemen of Verona" and Laertes in "Hamlet." And then on his way fell into a great movie.
Actually, with film Pereverzev acquainted, while still a student at drama school. In 1932 he played as extras in the movie "Deserter". Then in 1934 he was entrusted with a small role in the film "The Private Life of Peter Vinogradov". And finally, in 1939 he received an invitation to play in the main role in the film "Walter". This film tells about German anti-fascists. Actor gladly accepted the invitation, began to shoot, but they soon stopped. After signing in August 1939, the Molotov - Ribbentrop Pact anti-fascist theme was undesirable for the Kremlin leadership. Work on the "Walter" immediately stopped. However, our hero did not remain without work: in those days the director Vladimir Korsch-Sablin on the same film studio "Sovetskaya Belarus" to film "My Love." Here Pereverzev a part of other actors from "Walter" and was transferred to the shooting. I note that our hero got in the film one of the central roles - handsome engineer Grisha. With this role, in fact, started all-union fame actor Pereverzev.
During the Great Patriotic War Pereverzev embodied on the screen the whole gallery of brave men: Lieutenant found in "Sea Hawk" Nikulin "Ivan Nikulin, Russian sailor" (by the way, it was the first color, tricolor Soviet film), Colonel Ryabinin in " It was in the Donbas "in those same years in Tashkent M. Romm has created the world`s first theater actor, and the first production there were" guilty Without guilt "by A. Ostrovsky. In this performance, I played and Pereverzev.
After the war, in 1946, our hero was invited by director Andrei Frolov to star in the lead role in his film "The first glove." During the filming of this picture actor suddenly I fell in love with his partnershu- 19-year-old actress Nadezhda Cherednichenko. Moreover, their first meeting was for the girl is not very pleasant: Pereverzev came on set tipsy, unsuccessfully joked. And she did not like. But the shooting continued, and gradually a bad impression from the first meeting was held. His attention and persevering courtship broke the ice in their relationship. At that time she was living in a hostel, I ate poorly, and Pereverzev was already famous when it drove to the cafe on Gorky Street, littered money. Although true love a young actress to our hero did not feel, she finally agreed to marry him. August 14, 1946 (her birthday), immediately after the shooting episode with balloons, young announced their engagement. All participants in the shooting ran to congratulate them.
The film "The first glove" was released on the screens of the country in 1947 and called the delight of spectators. It seemed that after such a successful career Pereverzev sharply go uphill. Unfortunately, it did not happen. The end of the `40s turned out to be unsuccessful for the Soviet cinema, and for many of his actors. The film was shot a little and work enough not to everyone. I do not remove and then our hero. In those years he was increasingly applied to the glass. Not everything is going well and he had a family. Despite the birth of his son Sergei, living together with N. Cherednichenko not evolved. Hoping to change something, he makes grand gestures: his wife bought a car, a new piano. But all to no avail. Scandals in the family one after the other. Finally, in 1951, in spite of all his entreaties, the wife takes the child and leaves the house. Shortly thereafter, N. Cherednichenko married younger then cameraman, then became director Peter Todorovski.
Surviving family drama Pereverzev helps work: he was again beginning to invite to appear. In 1951, on the screens out the film "Taras Shevchenko" in which Pereverzev plays a supporting role, but the picture received the Stalin Prize. Actor again in the spotlight of directors. In 1952, Mikhail Romm (not as you wish) begin work on dilogii "Admiral Ushakov" and "Ships Storming the Bastions". The main role - Admiral Ushakov - asked to play Pereverzev. Later, the actor recalled: "As soon as I was cast Ushakov I to Mikhail Ilyich became dear and close person, and so my feelings I can not express in words, and to this day! .. Michael I. has created around me an atmosphere of utmost attention and I would even say, adoration ... "
In 1953, both films are located on the screen.
After that, films with Pereverzev again began to emerge into the light one after another. These were:
"Heroes of Shipka", "Life Lessons", "Franko", "In the power of gold", "How to Catch Semago", "Woodland legend." However, only the role in the film "Life Lessons" from J. Reisman - engineer Sergei daisies - can be safely attributed to the success of the actor.
One day fate brought Pereverzev with the then Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev. And under the circumstances quite anecdotal.
In that year, the Soviet Union on a friendly visit to the progressive American singer Paul Robeson. Khrushchev while vacationing in the Crimea, and it is there to love him, and brought a guest of honor. It was in the last week of August 1958. In those days in the Crimea rested and Ivan Pereverzev. During the solemn arrival Robson actor standing in a crowd welcoming and visibly distinguishable by its large figure. Apparently, so Robson and drew attention to it. Having moreover, that the Russian hero name is Ivan, singer and did Superbad and from that moment on a step would not let myself an actor.
That same evening, at the Livadia Palace Soviet leader gave a magnificent reception in honor of the distinguished guest, gathered entirely party-economic nomenclature and cultural figures. Paul Robeson importantly walked about among the guests, and with him and his new friend - Ivan Pereverzev, already well drunk.
Meanwhile, Khrushchev, seeing that the high American guest always revolves around some akterishki, not with him, apparently, vzrevnoval. Therefore, he made the first attempt to push Robson from his new friend, but the latter was surprisingly Assertive - when Khrushchev approached them, he took the American`s arm and led him away. After some time, Khrushchev tried to go back to the rendezvous, but the actor, and this time was on the alert, a new maneuver - and the Soviet leader was again left holding the bag. Apparently, this could go on all night if the amount of alcohol drunk did not play a bad joke Pereverzev. By the time he had lost his sense of reality so that when Khrushchev was the third time came to them with the intention to win the American guest, the actor turned to the head of the party and the government, and said loudly:
- Fuck you to ...!
After that, the room came a deathly silence, which first broke the guards. They picked up the deranged actor arms and literally carried him out of the palace. Fortunately, bad owned Russian language Paul Robeson did not understand where it was sent by his friend the Soviet leader.
Oddly enough, but this case is practically no effect on the personal and creative destiny Pereverzev. Khrushchev was a man with the concept and knew what could be done with a man extra shot of vodka. Therefore, no reprisals against the actor and not followed. Moreover, in 1962 the young director Victor Komissarzhevsky invited him for the lead role in the movie "Meet Baluev!". It Ivan Pereverzev created obrazrukovoditelya major construction projects, an honest man and principled communist. The entire Soviet press wrote about this film in glowing terms. At the Moscow International Film Festival in 1963, officials from the State Committee for Cinematography actively nominated film for the main prize, but the members of the jury headed by G. Chuhray not afraid push candid crafts and gave award F. Fellini film "8 1/2".
Since the mid-50s is back in a big cinema and H. Cherednichenko. She has been working in the movies: "World Champion", "Bonfire of Immortality," "Sailor Siskin", "When the nightingales sing," "Coordinates unknown", "Oleksa Dovbush", "Home". In 1961, she divorced P. Todorovsky (from this marriage she had a daughter) suddenly returned to Pereverzev. By that time, he also managed to fall in love with a poor actress A. Larionov, get hold of a daughter and a divorce. However, the second attempt at living together I. Pereverzev and H. Cherednichenko was much shorter than the first: they have lived together all year and a half (even starred in a movie) and separated. Now forever.
It is worth noting that, despite the fact that outwardly Pereverzev gave the impression of quite successful, a kind lady`s man, he nevertheless in real life was far from this image. In confidential conversations with friends, he confessed that he had never triumphed over all his women and marriage - the result of women`s victories over him. After the third divorce in the mid-60s it seemed to him that his love life would never be able to get better. But it was not so.
In 1967, the director of the Odessa Film Studio Stanislav Govorukhin invited the actor on his new role in the adventure film "Angel`s day". That`s where our hero and met with 26-year-old Olga Solovieva - his future wife. January 6, 1968 on the birthday of Nikolai Kryuchkov (he also played in the picture of one of the main roles) Pereverzev Olga made a formal proposal of marriage. She agreed. January 13 in the same Odessa, they celebrated the wedding (I note that for O. Solovieva it was the second marriage). Soon they had a son, who was named Theodore.
In everyday life, Pereverzev was generous and brave man. His friends say that he has never been afraid to commit acts contrary to popular public opinion. So when the public together indignant behavior of such writers as Viktor Nekrasov, Vladimir Dudince, Pereverzev was not afraid to come to their house and maintain good word.
In 1975, Ivan Pereverzev was awarded the title of People`s Artist of the USSR.
Telefilm "Midsomer Murders" was one of the last in the record of the remarkable actor Pereverzev. By that time, despite the fact that he quit drinking and smoking, his health was already undermined. Role in the film due to ill health he was unable to voice (for he did his old friend Eugene Vesnik). April 23, 1978 I. Pereverzev died.
