American blues -rock collective Gov`t Mule was formed in 1994 as a part of Warren Haynes - guitar, Matt Ebts - drums and Woody Allen - bass guitar. Names Warren Haynes and Allen Woody was familiar to many music lovers ever since their appearance in the composition of "Allman brothers band". K " brothers " they joined in 1989, accounting for a good company to Greg Allman and Dickey Betts. Five years later, Warren and Allen, along with drummer Matt Ebtsom organized a side- project called "Gov`t mule". The music of the new group clearly felt the impact of "Allman brothers band", but at the same time work " mules " resembled the glorious days of "Cream", and some critics drew parallels with the "Led Zeppelin".
