David Joseph Bohm
Date of Birth: 12/20/1917
Citizenship: United States
The boy soon became interested in the exact sciences, studied physics at the University of California, and in 1943 he became a Doctor of Science. The university was engaged in an informal circle of talented students-physicists and after obtaining a degree was within the walls of the alma mater.
His research Bom dedicated plasma theory and the theory of synchrotron and Synchrocyclotron. His designs were used in the creation of the atomic bomb the United States. In the late 1940s, a scientist has taught at Princeton University, worked with Einstein. Bohm`s "quantum theory" out fundamental work in 1951. In the same year because of political persecution, the scientist was forced to leave the country and become a professor of physics at the University of Sao Paulo.
In 1955 Bohm moved to Israel, he taught physics at the Haifa Institute of Technology. And in the early 1960s, he took the chair
Theoretical Physics, University of London, where he remained until retirement. One of the most powerful discoveries Bohm - the effect of quantum interconnectedness "Aharonov - Bohm."
Retired Bom devoted his time to the theory of "holomovement" by which any changes in the universe are interconnected. Bom died on October 27, 1992.
