Carrie-Anne Moss was born on August 21, 1967 in Vancouver, Canada. Even as a little girl she decided for myself that someday will certainly become a famous actress and won an Oscar. She played in a children`s theater, and her mother, alone brings up Carrie-Anne with her older brother in every way supported her in this endeavor it. "I`ve never been afraid to take on complex cases - my mother always supported me and said that I must deal with all of your endeavors" - recalls the actress.

Studying at the prestigious school, Carrie-Anne enjoyed great popularity among classmates - she was always surrounded by a large number of friends and admirers. Almost immediately after entering school, Carrie-Anne was invited to the choral studio and began to take part in the concert choir of European cities.

After high school, 17-year-old Moss was attending acting classes, but because of financial problems soon was forced to say goodbye to his dream of finding a more mundane job as a waitress in a restaurant in Vancouver. The dream of becoming an actress was becoming more and more elusive - Carrie-Anne did not know how to get into the world of cinema and soon completely abandoned their attempts. But once it came to the restaurant a former school friend, the actor, who starred at the time in the TV series "Ally McBeal" and reminded her of her childhood dream and promised to help in any way he can. The next day, Carrie-Anne retired from his job.

In 1991, Carrie-Anne lucky - she was offered a small role in the TV series "Dark Justice", the shooting of which took place at that time in Spain. The role was imperceptible, but when the series "moved" back to Los Angeles, Carrie-Anne also moved to the United States, becoming closer to the world of Hollywood.

In 1994, Moss was spotted by a master of the television series by Aaron Spelling (author and producer of such hits as "Beverly Hills 90210"), who offered her a role in the series "Models Inc.", the success of which was, unfortunately, much more modest than expected. The series was taken off the air after only 3 months, but the actors themselves with discontent remembered work on the film - the characters seemed to them flat, plot lines - sucked from the finger ...

After Carrie-Anne unexpected completion of filming he was forced to go back to Toronto, where she was able to get one of the central roles in the series "F / X: The Series". However, the actress stayed here a while - it is not satisfied with the development of her character, and she left the project. In between working on serials actress also starred in small strips for the big screen, but none of the pictures could not bring her the desired interest from the public and critics.

Career Carey-Ann took a sharp start only in 1999, when the screens went out "Matrix" - a film that marked the beginning of a new era in the world of cinema, the era of crazy special effects, fashion and stylish cyberpunk action. Moss went to the audition confident in the next "flight", but the Wachowski brothers made out in her great potential, being able to turn the soap opera format the star in cult figure for millions of moviegoers around the world. Naturally, after such a furore lack roles Carrie-Anne no longer felt - in 2000 on the screens out once 4 tape with her participation - from a second-rate "commands" to the critics noted, "Remember." There was also a small role in "Chocolate", besides Moss paired with Val Kilmer starred in the fantastic "Red Planet."

The following two years of life the actress was completely devoted to filming the sequels to "The Matrix." "Reloaded" and "Revolution" was filmed as one movie, in order to save much of the filming budget was transferred to Australia, and the actors had for the second time undergo intensive physical training in order to perform all their own stunts (which, incidentally, did not help them avoid injury - the actress broke her leg executing a dangerous jump).

After "The Matrix" actress apparently decided to take a little break and devote himself to the family - she married in 1999 and are currently waiting for the firstborn, which should be born this fall.
