The organizers of the soul group Atlantic Starr Lewis brothers were, in the early 70`s played on the East Coast Group Newban, Exact Change and Unchained Youth.In 1976, the brothers moved to Los Angeles, where he gathered Atlantic Starr; almost immediately the group was able to sign a contract with A & M.
The first two studio albums Atlantic Starr recorded under the guidance of an experienced producer Bobby Eli, known for his work with Major Harris and Ronnie Dyson.
