Alexander S. Kapto (born April 14, 1933, the village V.-Tarasovka Dnepropetrovsk region, Ukraine.) - Russian and Ukrainian scientist, sociologist and political scientist, diplomat, journalist, politician and statesman, PhD (1967), Doctor of Philosophy ( 1985). At the present time - the head of the International UNESCO Chair at the Institute of Social and Political Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Vice-President of the Academy of Social Sciences, a member of the Presidium of the Academy of Political Science, Chairman of the Expert Council on Political WAC, chairman of the Council for doctoral theses at the ISPR (sociology, management , the spiritual life of sociology). His research interests and research activities are: international relations, issues of war and peace, sociology, politics, morality and education, professional ethics, social activity of young people.

A. Kapto went from being a freelance correspondent to chief editor of Ukrainian Republican youth newspaper. A. Kapto is a member of the Union of Journalists. In 1971 and 1974. I received Diplomas of the first degree for the victory in the All-Union competition for the best works of popular science literature, which held society "Knowledge".
