In 2000, the band released their debut album titled "Agents of Oblivion". But soon after such a momentous event the musicians decided to announce the collapse of the team and go on to other projects. "Agents of Oblivion" The band was formed in 1999 in the American town of Home, Louisiana. The musical direction of the band is an alternative metal.

Its roots group takes from "Acid Bath" team. A leading musician band was Dax Riggs, who loved to mix genres such as psychedelic rock, doom metal, recent findings-rok, folk-rock and blues-rock. Dax Riggs in their compositions so picking the "ingredients ", the result was obtained hell of an explosive mixture, which a normal person would have seemed too abstract and alternative.

After the death of his best friend Audi Pitre, Dax Riggs decided to organize a new band ,playing more melodic and less rhythmic music than the group "Acid Bath". This project was the group "Daisyhead & The Mooncrickets". But in a relatively short period of time the musician realized that nothing good comes out of this group did not work and decided to take up new ideas. So a group of "Agents of Oblivion" was formed in 1999. In addition to Riggs in the team included another former member of the "Acid Bath" group, Mike Sanchez. Musicians wanted to create a more melodic and poetic image than they had before.

The composition of the group "Agents of Oblivion" did not change before their collapse. The team consisted of the following musicians : Dax Riggz- vocals, guitar ; Mike Sanches- guitar; Alex Bergeron- bassguitar; Jeff Makkarti- drums ; Chuck Pitr- keyboards.

Album "Agents of Oblivion" was the only work of the team of the same name. It includes such compositions as the "Endsmouth", "Slave Riot", "A Song That Crawls", "Dead Girl", "Phantom Green" and many others.

This album had a good popularity among fans of the former "Acid Bath" and the current team fans. In these compositions had a lot of intense energy, which is able to captivate and obscure reason.Musicians came to their songs are very subtly and sensuously, as a result turned out a great project that can creep for a long time in memory.

After the collapse of the group "Agents of Oblivion" Riggs began to look for new ideas and talent. As a result, he came to the creation of the group "Deadboy and the Elephantmen". In this endeavor, he helped Chuck Pitre. Later to this team joined Alex Bergeron.
