7 SECONDS born in the epoch of hardcore - in 1980, and the spirit with which it occurred, group leader singer / guitarist Kevin Seconds Marvelli describes the words "let`s make a hardcore band and see what happens!" Look at the results and take part in its creation volunteered his younger brother, bassist Steve Youth, and in addition the singer Dim (Menace) Borghino and already his brother drummer Tom (Munist) Borghino.7 SECONDS grown on a standard set of punk - fertilizer - SEX PISTOLS, RAMONES, BUZZCOCKS, CLASH - in general, all that can be difficult to purchase in the hot Nevada. Music 7 SECONDS was very hard to shelter the destination. The first concert took place at some biker bar, and the group is still wondering how they managed to stay alive after that.Punk Rock lead up people to the point that they went to the homes of members of the group to threaten with baseball bats in their hands. In the early eighties, and Tom went Dim gathered a new team SECTION 8, and 7 SECONDS joined drummer Tray Mowat from the Urban Assault, staying at her place with Kevin and Steve today. And with him 7 SECONDS released his first devyatipesennuyu sorokopyatki "Skins, Brain & Guts" on Alternative Tentacles (Jello Biafra of the company DEAD KENNEDYS). However, the next sorokopyatki started Squirtdown Records label, and in the end the team landed on BYO (Better Youth Organization) Records in Los Angeles, where it was printed edition of their debut full length. By the time the baggage group had several magnitoalbomov, which later together with sorokopyatki bargain were collected in "alt.music.hardcore" CD.
The Group actively joined the movement "streytedzherov" preach a healthy lifestyle and an unhealthy rate of music. Not surprising, their second CD was produced by Ian MasKaue - leader MINOR THREAT, and musically "Walk Together, Rock Together" gives very early recordings of the past - think of it as a compliment. The guitar band played up Dan Pozinak, but the second part of the concert disc recorded already as a quintet -with rhythmguitarist Ron Doig and bassist Jon Spizz Hughes.
After careful experimental steps varied album "New Wind" (as part of Kevin - vocals, Youth - guitar, Joseph Bansuelo - bass and Mowatt - drums), the band hit the lightweight dreary post-punk disc "Ourselves" (with new guitarist Bobby Adams and Kevin`om, who took the bass).Next creation "Soulforce Revolution", recorded as 7 SECONDS steel trio presented an impossible surprise - hit the US Top- 200 ! And then Kevin was engaged in two other projects - DROP ACID and 5`10 "Note that his brother had another outsider artist JACKSHIT. .
After Kevin realized that he too was carried away, 7 SECONDS again stood on the rails and, After a four-year break, give birth weighted disc "Out Of The Shizzy", where the experiment was carried out by hybridization of the modern - a la the New York hardcore with pop punk. It was a significant step forward in terms of creativity, which allowed the team to make itself felt buoyant corporations.Epic did not fail to hog punk veteronov.and as a result, you can listen to good-looking pop - punk disc "The Music, The Message", where melody and rhythm merge into a single whole pogo dance tune. The group obviously has adopted the best of what has been created in the competition crucibles of Epitaph Records, but it did not lose a single drop of their originality and charm.A rare highlight in solid ranks indistinguishable thousands of punk bands from all over the world.
The last verses "Good To Go" triumph brings us back to the days of riotous youth and has nothing to do with a mild post -punk "Ourselves" (a part of which it is, oddly enough, is recorded). Honestly,if you suddenly got it into his head to mix songs with "Good To Go" from the debut album "The Crew" material fact whether you are three Einstein and four Eisenhower, no shit would not be able to determine which of the songs where taken, and generally all tracks to show you one huge, monotonous and indistinguishable hardcore craniotomy.Discography:
